Dear Friends & Family,

As many of you already know our dear friend and family member has been battling cancer on and off for the past 12 years. The cancer last year which was her 3rd breast cancer diagnosis and her 4th diagnosis of cancer of the ovarian. Angie has fought it with the power of prayer and her amazing attitude and positivity. Well now the ovarian cancer has metastasized and has come back a 5th time with a vengeance. She is in shock and devastated by this news more than the past 4 diagnoses. Angie found out from her oncologists in Savannah that her cancer is rare, aggressive and has a high reoccurrence rate.

This cancer is both a Sarcoma and a Carcinoma which makes it rare. With a reoccurrence not quite within a year since she finished chemotherapy last year. Both her oncologists in Savannah feel that her next step in her cancer battle is to go to MD Anderson Cancer Treatment Center in Houston, Texas. MD Anderson is the best place in the country to be when it comes to treating rare incurable cancers.

Through her 12 year battle with cancer Angie has never asked for anything but prayers, support, love, a shoulder to cry on, a friend to talk to or a family member to hug her. She made sure Dylan’s needs were taken care of first before hers. Dylan has always come first in Angie’s life. The time has now come when we ask in love for you to help Angie with this battle that she is fighting. Let’s show her how much she means to our community. This GoFundMe page has been established to help Angie with her upcoming travel expenses and other expenses that will arise at MD Anderson for treatment. We don’t know at this time how many times Angie will be traveling to Texas until after this initial appointment. Angie will need to stay at MD Anderson for 5 days for her first stay. Any amount that you could donate to help her with these upcoming expenses would be greatly appreciated by Angie, Dylan and her family. If you are unable to donate that is totally understandable just know that your continued prayers mean so much more. At this time Angie’s faith, positive attitude and her desire to live her life to the fullest is what sustains her and keeps her spirits up. She plans to continue living her life to the fullest and enjoy every single day with her family and friends. That attitude and outlook we believe is what has kept her with us for this long.

We have had many people reach out to us and ask what they can do to help Angie and how can they donate money to her to help with medical expenses since she was referred to MD Anderson in Houston, Texas to continue her cancer treatment.
