Help Me Finish My Final Year at UCSC

Hello, my name is Angeni, and I’m in my last year at UC Santa Cruz, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Technology and Information Management. I’ve worked hard to maintain a strong academic record and I balance my studies with a part-time maintenance job on campus.

Until now, I’ve been fortunate to receive financial aid from FAFSA. This aid has covered my tuition, making it possible for me to stay on track academically. However, during my midterms this quarter, I was informed that, because I had earned 76 credits through concurrent enrollment in high school, I’ve exceeded my maximum credit limit for aid eligibility. As a result, I am no longer eligible for financial aid and have been advised to withdraw while I can still receive a partial pardon for this quarter’s tuition.

I’m just one year away from completing my degree, and I am determined not to let this setback force me to stop now. I am disciplined, hardworking, and passionate about using my education to make a positive difference.
