We are raising funds for our Uncle Angelo who recently lost his home and all of his belongings in the Pack Fire, the fire that devastated the community of McGee Creek outside of Mammoth Lakes on Thursday November 13th.
The fire was fast moving, and in just minutes, everything Angelo owned including his beloved family keepsakes were gone. Angelo has been living in the Eastern Sierras for 27 years running his business Angelo's Stove & Chimney out of Mammoth Lakes. For the past 22 years, McGee Creek has been his home and where he planned to live through retirement.
These funds will go directly towards helping Angelo as he rebuilds his life, from housing, clothing, essential personal items, and the basic necessities of starting over. Right now the immediate need is to help Angelo secure temporary housing so he has a safe, warm place to stay before winter sets in.
Any amount truly makes a difference. Small donations add up and every little bit helps. We thank you for your support, your generosity, and for keeping Angelo and all those in the McGee Creek community in your thoughts.
