My name is Angelique, a mom to 6 and grandmother to a baby girl and I am the sole provider for my five wonderful children. Recently, I received the life-changing news that I have been diagnosed with Stage 3 Head and Neck Cancer. Facing this diagnosis without insurance has been overwhelming, and the cost of the surgery to remove the tumor is far beyond what I could manage on my own. Having to take time off of work has been a burden. The cost of just getting around to the appointments is an extra expense. Travel is an hour to and from. Every day, I am reminded of how much my children depend on me, and my greatest wish is to be there for them as they grow.

The funds raised through this campaign will go directly to covering the cost to any thing I may need to continue my treatments, making my way to doctors,my hospital stays, possible hotel stays for radiation days ,chemo days, prescriptions and the surgery itself. This is going to help the additional expenses for travel, radiation, or the living costs that will come while I recover. Maybe it helps with rent and bills at home maybe it helps me to buy pads and soap maybe it helps with dish soap no matter I can assure you this will help me to take care of me my kids and my health in the upcoming year. I am doing everything I can to stay strong for my children, I am not one to ask for help, I’ve been independent and in control of my life for as long as I can remember but I cannot do this alone. Your support will not only help me access the care I need, but it will also give my children the chance to have their mom by their side for years to come.
