This is a way for Mary's friends and family to help relieve some of the financial pressure during this incredibly difficult time. We are reaching out to all of our friends, family, and anyone willing to help raise money for Mary and her daughter, Angelina.

Angelina is 17 years old and has been fighting a battle that's hit home for way too many of us - cancer. She was diagnosed last year with a rare and aggressive form of cancer called Ewings Sarcoma. She's endured chemo and all of the sickness and pain that goes along with it. She made it through a long and difficult surgery where they removed half of her lung, only then to suffer four strokes, causing her to lose her speech and the use of her right side. Along with each part of the treatments, she's faced terrible complications, coming close to death. She is such a tough, brave kid, but she still has so much work ahead.

In the last months, Angelina and her family thought she was finally on the road to recovery but were hit again with more bad news: several new growths. One growth is on her spine, making it hard to feel her legs. She should be out being a teen, having fun with friends, but instead she's stuck in the hospital, with the tubes/wires, machines beeping, being woken up constantly... She just wants to be home, in her own bed, able to cuddle with her cats, and enjoy relaxed visits with friends and family. She has just been cleared for rehabilitation and the next step, to go home. But to go home will add so many extra expenses and a whole new front to navigate with this battle.

This has been an unexpected journey, draining Mary's savings, and we're hoping to relieve some of the pressure by helping with the new expenses of home health care.
