My name is Angelina, and dance has been my anchor through some of the most challenging times in my life. I started dancing when I was 11, and over the years, it has given me stability and hope, even as I faced housing instability and financial struggles. No matter what was happening—whether I was unsure where I would stay next or how I would get by—dance was always there for me, offering a sense of purpose and belonging.
Recently, I was accepted into the John Cranko summer intensive in New York. This is my first major ballet summer intensive, and it represents a huge step toward my dream of becoming a professional dancer. The opportunity means the world to me, and I need help to cover the costs of tuition, housing, dance wear and travel so I can attend and focus on my dancing.
I’m deeply grateful for any support, no matter the amount. Your kindness will help me take a big step toward my dream, and I hope one day I can give back to others facing tough times. Thank you for believing in me and helping me keep dancing, even when life gets hard.
