Hello, my name is Angelie, and I am reaching out to you for support as I embark on a life-changing mission trip to the Dominican Republic. My church is organizing a one-week missions trip to serve the people in need in local neighborhoods, hospitals, and beyond. As a Dominican-American woman, this trip holds a special place in my heart, and I am excited about the opportunity to give back to the community that shares my roots.

Purpose of the Trip: Our mission is to bring love, hope, and practical support to the people living in poverty. During our time in the Dominican Republic, we will be distributing essential items like food, medicine, and new clothes to those who need it most. We will also be visiting hospitals, local areas, and churches to serve, help, and spread the message of God’s love and faithfulness.

Why This Means So Much to Me: As someone with deep personal connections to the Dominican Republic, I know firsthand the struggles many families face. I want to serve others as God has called us to do, and share His love with those who feel forgotten. This mission is so much more than just providing physical aid—it’s about giving people hope and showing them that God’s love is never-ending.

This trip is the first mission opportunity my church is offering to members, and I feel deeply called to be part of it. It’s a dream to be able to go back to my homeland and help those in need, not only with physical needs but also by sharing the gospel and the message of salvation.

How You Can Help: To make this trip possible, I need your support. Your donations will help cover the cost of my plane ticket, food, and necessary personal items needed for the journey.

A Little About Me: I’m a young woman in my 20s, born and raised in the United States, but my heart is deeply connected to the Dominican Republic through my family and heritage. I’ve walked with God since I was 10 years old, and my heart is always open to showing love and kindness to others. Serving people has always been part of who I am, and I believe this mission trip is a divine opportunity to do just that.

Unfortunately, I don’t currently have the financial means to fund this trip on my own, but I trust that God will provide. I am humbly asking for your support in helping me fulfill this mission. Your generosity, no matter how big or small, will make a huge difference in the lives of the people I will be serving.

Propósito del viaje: Nuestra misión es brindar amor, esperanza y apoyo práctico a las personas que viven en la pobreza. Durante nuestra estancia en la República Dominicana, distribuiremos artículos esenciales como alimentos, medicamentos y ropa nueva a quienes más lo necesitan. También visitaremos hospitales, localidades e iglesias para servir, ayudar y difundir el mensaje del amor y la fidelidad de Dios.

Por qué esto significa tanto para mí: Como alguien con profundas conexiones personales con la República Dominicana, conozco de primera mano las dificultades que enfrentan muchas familias. Quiero servir a los demás como Dios nos ha llamado a hacer y compartir su amor con quienes se sienten olvidados. Un poco sobre mí: Soy una joven de veintitantos años, nacida y criada en Estados Unidos, pero mi corazón está profundamente conectado con la República Dominicana a través de mi familia y mi herencia.
