Help Angela's Dream of a Full-Length Album

Hello Friends, Family, and Fellow Earthlings! My name is Angela Rose Fields, and I am a Creative/Singer/Songwriter and Dreamer. A couple of years ago I decided to start going after my childhood dream of Singing/Songwriting. What I didn't realize was the level of desire for life that it would infuse into my being. Incorporating a medium that allows me to dive intimately into the parts of myself that feel so deeply and desire attention has brought lightness, pleasure, and a desire to live and express beyond what I previously knew in my adult life.

Before singing/songwriting when I would hit low points of Complex PTSD, it took all my energy to keep my mind from venturing into truly dark places. These days when the hard times hit, music is one of the places I turn, and the result is coming through them a lot more gracefully, compassionately, and quickly and present. To have found a tool (beyond therapy) that allows me to sit with levels of pain that my nervous system would previously try to avoid has changed my life!

This last year I released my first two singles on all streaming platforms along with music videos. They were recorded in single takes and simple, but exactly what I needed to get started. My goal now is to release a full-length album, and I have the first three songs ready to record and produce. I want to do full production and breathe more life and dimension into them now that I have more of an understanding of myself as a singer/songwriter. It will require bringing other musicians into the studio beyond my producer and myself.

Singles will be released one at a time and then ultimately grouped into a full album. We begin production on Sunday, April 21st!

Being that my process with songwriting all has to do with life experiences, the songs I have so far followed the theme of this year, which for me has largely been about surrender, change, and letting go. The rest will be shaped by life as it continues to unfold. I anticipate the process to take somewhere between 1-2 years, however, I don't want it to be rushed and dictated by a hard timeline.

This is where I call on my community and anyone who feels inspired to help support! I can feel in every fiber of my being that it is time to bring these songs to life, and if I can do so without going into further debt, it would be ideal.

The funds I am looking to raise will go to:

1. Production costs for the entirety of the album.

2. Additional musicians that we bring into the studio.

3. If additional funds are raised beyond my goal they will go towards video production and marketing. I would like to give this album my all and utilize my marketing skills with it, but up until now making ends meet has taken priority.
