Imagine being 41years old. Imagine you lost your Mum at 20 years old. Imagine you are a strong single woman who owns her own home, works 3 jobs, 1 for the nhs. Imagine being told you have grade 3 colon cancer. That you can no longer work. That you are going to begin cancer treatment and your whole world is going to be turned upside down and you wont know until the end of it all your fate. Imagine you have no family to support you through the hospital appoinments, hours of chemo, days of feeling weak, sick and just awful! Imagine along with all of that you are penalised because you arent in this moment in time quite 'sick' enough according to the system and all you are entitled to financially is barely enough to cover your mortgage! You need to pay all your other utility bills, feed yourself and your cats and put fuel in a car on order to get to the hospital. The one blessing you can be thankful for is that you have a small group of friends around you that are there for you as much as they possibly can to get you through this difficult time. This is the life of my childhood best friend Angela Wilson. She has been dealt tough cards her entire life and always does her best to come out smiling. To look at the glass half full and never let things get on top of her but she is struggling. For us who love her we are at a loss of how else we can help her. I know at the moment everyone is having a hard time financially and as proud as she is I feel there is not alot more we can do but ask that of anyone can afford to donate anything it will help her greatly! No matter how small it may be it will just make these next however many months a bit less stressful and let Angela concentrate on being strong enough to go through treatment. Thank you for taking the time to read this and if possible donate. Please feel free to share also. God bless!
