Hi, my name is Angela. I’m a hardworking mama of two amazing kids and the owner of a small business that I pour my heart into every single day. I’m creating this GoFundMe because I need help with something that has become extremely difficult for me to face on my own — restoring my smile.

Over the years, between pregnancies, medical complications, and putting my family’s needs ahead of my own, my teeth have severely deteriorated. It’s affected my confidence, my ability to eat comfortably, my business interactions, and honestly, my mental health. I avoid photos, I avoid smiling, and I’m constantly battling pain and embarrassment. I’ve reached a point where I can’t keep pretending I’m okay.

Dental care is extremely expensive, and the procedure I need isn’t covered in a meaningful way by insurance. I’m fundraising so I can finally get the treatment necessary to restore my smile, improve my health, and feel like myself again.

I dream of the day I can smile at my children without hiding my mouth, feel confident talking to customers face-to-face, and just be able to eat without pain. If you’re able to donate — even just a couple of dollars — or share this campaign, it would mean the world to me.
