Angela Stem for her mother Elaine Bogner
Donation protected
Hi friends and family,
This may embarrass her, but I have to tell you about my dear sisterfriend Angela, a true angel. You may or may not know what she has endured this year. The same week she lost her younger brother to cancer she learned that her mother Elaine had six months to live. Angela made sure those months were as full of as much beauty and love and as little suffering as possible. She planted gardens of flowers and vegetables for Elaine. She put her life and career in California on hold to care for her. She surrounded Elaine with love, family, flowers, hummingbirds, art, beauty, nourishing food, and enriching experiences in her last weeks of life, bringing Elaine to California and devoting herself to Elaine’s hospice care.
Elaine, who is my daughter’s beloved grandmother, passed peacefully in her sleep two nights ago
(Oct 26) with Ang by her side, the passing we all hope and wish for.
Angela is one of the most giving, thoughtful, hard-working, loving, special people on this planet. If you know her, you’ve certainly been touched by her kindness.
I now ask us to come together as a community to return her kindness with love and support.
Donations will go directly to Angela to cover expenses incurred this year and will honor the love and devotion she gave to Elaine.
2021 has been so hard for everyone, with far too much loss. Knowing this, Angela did not want to ask for help but I am positive that if you are reading this you will want to show support to this incredible woman who has given everything to be there for her family.
With gratitude,
Alannah
