Help Angela Regain Her Independence #StrokeSurvivor

Hello, my name is Adrianne Savannah and on June 16th my mother, Angela, had an ischemic stroke that has left her with deficits to overcome: speech, right sided weakness and paralysis.

On June 9th she was taken to the ER because she was experiencing TIAs (transient ischemic attacks) that were warning signs to the major stroke she had on June 16th.

My mother is 58 years young and lives a very active and healthy lifestyle, so you can imagine the shock the doctors and we had when her brain was first imaged. Her brain imaging shows an unspecified vasculopathy affecting several arteries in her brain.

The doctors are still searching for answers, but this takes time.

The road to stroke recovery is going to be long for her.

Before her stroke, my mother exercised 7 days a week, meal prepped all her food, and has worked full time as a dental hygienist for 35 years. She loves her job and loves helping those in need.

She is currently in acute rehab recovering from the deficits from her stroke.

ALL proceeds donated will go towards her treatment, rehabilitation and bills. Any amount helps.

As her daughter, I will be updating on her recovery and handling her life so she can focus on getting her independence back. I have been with her in Indiana since June 11th, but I currently live in California (I am a military spouse) and we will be PCSing to North Carolina in a month.

There are a lot of moving pieces and unknowns, especially finding a diagnosis for her.
