Help Angela Recover From Takotsubuo Syndrome

Donation protected
Sunday, February 4th Angela suffered a serious cardiac incident. She noticed pain in her neck, and her chest, and her jaw. She knew that something wasn't right, but she also knew that she had a doctor's appointment in a few days, and being self-employed, she knew that there is no such thing as "Paid time off." So, she sucked it up and waited for her appointment to bring up these symptoms to her doctor. Within a few minutes of walking into her doctor's office, she found herself in the ER in Marshfield for treatment of a serious cardiac incident called takotsubo syndrome. Similar to a heart attack, takotsubo syndrome causes damage to heart tissue like a heart attack, and can be fatal.

Fortunately for all of us, Angela survived the incident, but there was some damage done to her heart tissue. She will need ongoing cardiac rehabilitation, and it starts with a two week restriction on working at all.

Being self-employed is always a double edged sword, and right now that sword is cutting hard into Angela's ability to take the two weeks completely off from her massage practice that she definitely needs to take in order to work on recovering her health.

There will be other ongoing expenses out of pocket for Angela as she adjusts to life post-incident, and as she works her way through the entire cardiac rehabilitation program.

Please consider donating a few dollars to help a friend during this difficult period, and in doing so, know that you are helping her to fully recover and return to full self-sufficiency.
