Hello friends and family:

I am starting a Go Fund Me account for my sister Angela Edwards who recently suffered a debilitating injury to her back, left leg and her right knee from a fall during the recent Texas ice storm. She is now unable to walk without a walker! This injury will prevent her from working, leaving her with no income during the healing process. Her recovery will take approximately 2-3 months. She is the sole income earner for her household which includes her daughter and two young grandsons.

Angela is a hard worker and does not like being dependent on others. Our parents raised us to never be too proud to ask for help from family and friends.This injury however, has made it impossible to be independent. .. which my sister has been the majority of her adult life.

Funds raised will help cover essentials

including rent, groceries,insurance,

medical costs and every day life essentials so she can focus on healing without the constant stress of bills and somehow playing catch up.

This was the condition (Monday February 2nd) 8 days after the storm started

The townhome complex neglected all of the sidewalks to the front doors as well as the parking lot !! Nothing was done

Her injury occurred on Friday January 30

And she spent 4 days in the hospital!
