Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters,

I’m reaching out on behalf of my sister, Angela, a dedicated music teacher and an invaluable part of her community. Angela has spent countless hours working with children in Harlem and the Bronx, nurturing their love for music and empowering them through education. Beyond her work in schools, Angela selflessly gives her time to her local church, offering her energy and care to everyone around her.

Sadly, Angela’s life took a devastating turn when a fire forced her to flee her Manhattan apartment. While we are so grateful that she is safe, the fire has left her displaced and facing overwhelming challenges. Without renters insurance, Angela must now pack up her entire apartment, put her belongings into storage, and secure temporary housing for at least three months—all while continuing her teaching commitments to the children she serves.

This situation has created unexpected financial burdens, from moving costs to storage fees, rent for temporary housing, and day-to-day essentials. Despite these difficulties, Angela remains determined to keep teaching and supporting her community. But she can’t do it alone—we need your help.

We are aiming to raise 10k to help Angela get back on her feet. Your contribution will go directly toward:
