אנו מבקשים את תמיכתכם בגיוס כספים עבור אנג'לה ברונפלד, חברה בקהילה הישראלית שלנו, אלמנה בת 63 קשת יום וטובת לב. בעלה נפטר לפני עשר שנים מסרטן ערמונית גרורתי. מחלתו גרמה להוצאות רפואיות גדולות שהותירו אותה ללא חסכונות, חובות רבים ובן מתבגר.

בשנים שלאחר מות בעלה היא עבדה שבעה ימים בשבוע בארבע משרות במקביל - כמטפלת לזקנה חולת אלצהיימר, גננת, בייביסיטר ודוג סיטר, כדי לפרנס את עצמה ולעזור לבנה בהוצאות המחיה והחינוך שלו.

היא סבלה מבעיות רפואיות רבות, בין היתר מיגרנות מתישות ותכופות, דיכאון , בעיות במערכת העיכול, הכבד והשחלות.

בספטמבר 2021 אנג'לה, אובחנה עם מוטציה נדירה של סרטן השד ועברה ניתוח שד. עקב מספר עיכובים בטיפולים הרפואיים באשמת המערכת הרפואית, מצבה החמיר, והיא עוברת בימים אלו סדרת טיפולי קרינה אגרסיביים, שעלולים לגרום לנזק לריאות.

אנג'לה חלשה מאוד מהטיפולים ומשאר הבעיות הרפואיות שלה. במצבה הנוכחי היא לא מסוגלת לעבוד וזקוקה לכל פיסת אנרגיה כדי להתמקד בהחלמתה ולהילחם בסרטן. נכון להיום הכנסתה היחידה היא 500$ - תשלום נכות חודשי.

היא זקוקה נואשות לעזרה כלכלית על מנת לשרוד ולשלם את הוצאותיה הרפואיות והמחייה.

Dear friends and community members,

We are asking for your support in raising funds for Angela Brunfeld, an Israeli woman, a part of our Israeli community, good-hearted hard-working 63-year- old widow. Her husband passed away ten years ago. He died from metastatic prostate cancer. His disease caused large medical expenses that left her with no savings, a lot of debt and a teenage son who, a few years later was admitted to college.

In the years following her husband’s death, she has worked seven days a week in four jobs simultaneously - as a caregiver to an old lady with Alzheimer’s, a preschool teacher, a babysitter and a dog sitter, in order to support herself and to help her son pay for his living expenses and education.

She has been suffering from multiple medical conditions, including frequent debilitating migraines, depression, and gastrointestinal, liver and ovary issues.

In September of 2021 Angela, was diagnosed with a rare mutation of breast cancer and has had breast surgery. Due to several delays in her medical treatments by the medical system, her situation has worsened, and she is currently undergoing a series of aggressive radiation treatments of her whole affected breast that will potentially cause damage to her lung.

Angela is very weak from these treatments and the rest of her medical issues. In her current situation she is not able to work and needs every bit of energy she has in order to focus on her health and battle her cancer. Currently her only income is a $500 - monthly disability payment.

She is in desperate need for financial help in order to survive and pay for her medical and living expenses.
