Hello my name is Brianna Greenhalgh, I am making this go fund me page, from my heart and soul, to my mom, Angela Noel. My mom was diagnosed non-small cell lung that had metastasized back in January. After traditional treatment, she opted for clinical study treatment. Living is getting harder and harder for my mom and my stepfather. Watching them with growing financial burdens is breaking me. He is close to losing his vehicle, and this is helping my mom get to the various appointments. Bills are stacking up and they have no money to get caught up. The stress is not good for how sick my mom is. They currently live on second floor and my mom is unable to make the stairs. My mom and stepfather got approved for a 1st floor apt that will also allow for my mom’s emotional support dog. She needs to come up with first, last and security by end of august. I am hoping we could help her in any way. Her upfront cost is at 1400 x 3, and is only getting $943 from SSI… My stepfather is pulling as many extra shifts to bring in more money, but he is now the lone income. She has gone to every resource route the state offers, but the grants are frozen for rental assistance. I help my mom as much as I can, while supporting four children and paying for my own bills. My mom took care of me for 26 years financially when she didn’t have to. Now it’s my turn to financially support my mom whose given me more than life and always put me and my older sister first. Her last penny would be for something we needed or even wanted, and she made it happen. My stepfather has been an amazing support for my mom, from being her caregiver and making sure she is as comfortable as possible, and tended to, he also works full time. He loses time off work when my mom can’t get out of bed, which they cannot afford to happen. Some days are better than others, but this weight is not good for her and I hope there is compassion to help me help them. Thank you so much for reading my plea for help.
