Help Angela Lay Her 5-Year-Old Daughter to Rest & Support Her Sons
On May 6, 2025, my great-niece Lea passed away unexpectedly from complications related to asthma. She was only five years old.
Lea was vibrant, fearless, and full of love. She brought light into every space she entered and joy into the lives of those lucky enough to know her. Her absence is deeply felt—and her memory will always live on in the hearts of those who loved her most.
Lea’s mother, Angela, is a devoted single mom and a physical education teacher in Utah. She is now facing every parent’s worst nightmare—while also trying to stay strong for her two young sons, who are grieving the loss of their little sister.
Tragically, this is the second daughter Angela has lost.
No parent should have to go through this kind of heartbreak once, let alone twice.

How You Can Help
We are raising funds to help cover:
• Funeral and burial costs
• Travel and family support
• Counseling and grief care
• Time off work to grieve and care for her sons
• Other unforeseen expenses that come with such a devastating loss
Every dollar raised will go directly to Angela, giving her the space to grieve, to heal, and to care for her boys.
I am Angela’s aunt and Lea’s great-aunt, and I will be managing this fundraiser to ensure every contribution supports Angela and her sons.
⸻
Our initial goal is $15,000, but every donation—large or small—helps relieve Angela’s financial burden and allows her to focus on healing.
If you feel moved to help, please donate or share this link. Your kindness will make a real difference.
