For Angela
Angela, Daniel’s wife, has been fighting to get well for the past 6 to 7 months. What first seemed to be a bacterial infection did not improve, even after ongoing treatment. In early July, new lab work finally showed that Angela had gallstones and needed her gallbladder removed. Before that could happen, delays in getting the care she needed allowed the infection to spread into her blood, causing sepsis. Angela was admitted to the hospital, had surgery the next morning, and although the procedure went well, her recovery became much more serious when her blood pressure dropped and her kidneys began to fail. She was moved into critical care, where she has remained through a much longer and more difficult recovery than Daniel and their family ever expected.
Daniel and Angela both work full time and are raising two young daughters. Because of this medical crisis, they have already missed work, their savings have been drained, and the bills are starting to pile up. Donations will help with Angela’s medical bills, mortgage, car payments, lost wages, food, transportation to future doctor’s appointments, and care for their daughters while Angela continues to recover. Daniel never imagined having to ask for help, but right now their family truly needs support. If you are able to give, no matter how small, it will mean so much. Prayers, positive thoughts, and sharing this fundraiser are also deeply appreciated. More than anything, Daniel just wants Angela healthy and back home with her family. Thank you for standing with them during this incredibly hard time.
