I’m Angela, and I’m asking for help as I try to leave Lexington, Kentucky and make it to Casper, Wyoming for a fresh start. I feel like there is nothing left for me here after losing so many friends and family members, and I’m trying to step away from the environment I’m in so I can focus on sobriety and getting into rehab. I’ve also struggled to find steady work because of my past and felony convictions, and it has made it even harder to move forward. I’m doing my best to choose a different path and start over somewhere new.

My plan is to take a Greyhound to Wyoming, get to a mission, and look for long-term rehab so I can begin rebuilding my life. The funds from this fundraiser will help cover the trip, food along the way, and temporary shelter if my plans fall through, so I can have some basic security during such a long journey.
