Help Angela Get To The Hospital to Visit Her Mom

My name is Debra Muzikar and I'm the Board President of the Art of Autism nonprofit. One of our board members, Angela Weddle, who is autistic and has cerebral palsy is experiencing an emergency right now and needs the community to help her. Angela is an artist, a community activist, and a friend.
Angela's mom, Gloria Weddle, who is Angela's primary support person, was admitted to the hospital on Friday with heart failure. She is in critical care in a hospital in San Antonio, Texas. Angela walked the one mile to visit her mom in the hospital because she does not have money for an Uber. This is a huge hardship as Angela's cerebral palsy makes it difficult for her to walk . Angela needs help with transportation and food.
I'm asking for donations for Angela to get an Uber to visit her mom and for food and any type of support during this difficult time for Angela. The hospital is not giving Angela a good prognosis for her mom. The holiday season is a difficult time for many but especially for those who have loved ones in the hospital. Your generosity will be greatly appreciated.

Gloria Weddle, 78, was a correctional officer, police officer, nurse’s aide and had many other jobs. She loves jazz and used to dance-ballet and tap when she was young. Grace also did prison ministry, helping incarcerated people even after she was retired from the police department.
