Hi family and friends,

My name is Michelle. I am starting this Fundraiser for my friend, Angela. She has a very rare medical condition called Ehlers-Danlos syndrome type 7 and overlap with osteogenesis imperfecta type 4 as well as MAST cell activation syndrome. Her condition is so rare, that she was the first to be diagnosed with it at the Cleveland Clinic. Unfortunately she has been denied disability and her insurance will not cover the mobility scooter that she needs. She has been told that her disease has not been recognized because it is so rare. The debilitating symptoms prevent her from working as she was previously. Over the past 3 years, she has been hospitalized for hundreds of days. 

I was blessed to have many people help me when I was diagnosed with cancer. I would like to pay it forward and try to help Angela get her mobility scooter and help pay for her outstanding medical debt so that she can enjoy some time with her kids this Summer.
