Help Angela Fight Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer!

**Update**

On the morning of May 19th, Angela took her final breath surrounded by love and peace. She held on with her signature quiet strength, giving her boys and those closest to her a chance to be near. Angela was a force, steady, sharp, deeply loving, and loyal to the end. Her absence leaves a hole that can’t be filled, but her impact will be carried forward in her boys, in all of us who loved her, and in the legacy of grace she leaves behind. We’ve included her obituary below, which shares more about her life, her love, and how she will be honored in the days ahead:

Urgent Update on Angela’s Fight

Hi Tribe,

Angela is back in the hospital, and things are getting more difficult. Complications keep piling up, and at this point, we don’t know when she’ll be able to go home. Her body hasn’t been able to tolerate the chemo plan fully, and ongoing infections and fluid buildup are making everything even harder. She is fighting with everything she has, but the reality is, this journey has been relentless.

On top of the emotional and physical toll, the financial burden is growing. With only one income supporting the family, the weight of medical expenses, time off work, and everyday costs is overwhelming. This GoFundMe isn’t just about one treatment anymore, it’s about giving Angela and her family the support they desperately need right now.

If you can donate, please do. If you can’t, please share. Angela needs her tribe more than ever. Caring bridge is still being updated and I will also update here when needed.

With love and gratitude,
Melissa

It’s Melissa here. I’ve known Angela for over 20 years, and if you’re reading this, I know she’s touched your heart too. A few months ago, Angela went to the hospital with jaundice & extreme pain in her stomach. The doctors found out she had a 4cm mass blocking her bile duct. A stent was placed to help, but further tests confirmed it was Stage 4 pancreatic cancer, which has spread to her liver.

Angela is exploring multiple procedures throughout Canada, as well as in the U.S. and a few other places that could be life-changing. One procedure is $17,500 USD—an amount not covered by Canadian healthcare and there are others as well that are even more.

This GoFundMe is to help her access any possible treatments and ease the financial strain on her family as neither Angela & Nem will be working and have two teen boys, Jackson & Riley, to support as well.

To stay updated on Angela’s journey, you can visit her CaringBridge site at https://www.caringbridge.org/ It’s a place where you can send words of encouragement and find news about how to support her in meaningful ways.

Any donation, big or small, would mean the world. If you can’t donate, please share this campaign and send positive thoughts and prayers. Angela is a fighter, but she needs her tribe behind her.
