Help Angel Stay at Howard U I’m Fighting for My future.

Hi, my name is Angel, and I’m currently a student at Howard University majoring in Biology, with dreams of becoming a doctor and giving back to the communities that raised me.

Right now, I’m facing a $13,000 past due balance that’s preventing me from getting housing,registering for classes, accessing my transcript, and continuing my education this fall. I’ve been working non-stop, doubling shifts, helping at home, and sacrificing sleep just to try and make it work. But I’ve reached a point where I can’t do this alone anymore.

Howard is more than just a school to me; it’s the place where I’ve grown, struggled, and found my voice. But like many students right now, I’m feeling the weight of the financial system failing us. Howard’s recent financial aid delays and tuition processing issues have affected so many of us. Students are being locked out of accounts, forced to drop classes, and left in limbo. I’ve emailed, called, and prayed for solutions, but time is running out.

This $13,000 covers my past-due balance so I can continue attending Howard this upcoming semester. I don’t want to drop out because of money; I’ve come too far. I’m the eldest of five, and I’ve always tried to be strong for everyone else. But today, I’m asking for help for myself.
