Despite all the tragedies  that my son Angel Salgado, his wife Rachel and 2 year old Ian have been through in the past 6 months, they have great hope for a better future!  Last year they were evacuated from their home twice due to two devastating hurricanes. Hurricanes  Laura and Delta caused great damage to their home and neighborhood.  Just recently, after many months of hard work,  they were able to return to their home. And just when it seemed they have recovered, in May 17th, the Salgado family again endured a natural disaster. A massive storm caused flooding to their house and Neighborhood, and after 8 terrifying hours trapped in the flooded house, they had to be rescue by boat.

Any excess money raised will be donated to the family’s Daycare, which got flooded once again, after sustaining damages from the hurricanes.
