Mugsy came to Angel Ridge Animal Rescue in early December after being found in the middle of the woods in Claysville, PA. Starved, scared, and found clinging to a plastic bag for warmth, Mugsy was determined to survive. He immediately became a volunteer favorite and was soon adopted by one of the best dog moms you will ever meet. Mugsy was finally living the life that he always deserved.

This past week everything changed for our sweet boy.

Mid-week Mugsy began coughing up blood and was rushed to PVSEC where he remained for the next three days. He was immediately put on oxygen and began seeing specialists throughout the day. After CT scans, blood transfusions, biopsies, and more, he was finally sent home while the diagnosis is still being resolved.

Nothing has been ruled out yet and Mugsy will likely need continued care in addition to the high medical bill that he has already incurred.
