On July 9,2021 our world was turned upside down. As some of you may know, my brother, our beloved Angel was the victim of a motorcycle accident. As a result, he suffered from extended injuries that almost cost him his life. Any one that knows Angel knows that he is kind-hearted man. Those close to him would describe him as a family man, a man who would do everything and anything for his siblings and his parents. Angel is now conscious; however, he has undergone several orthopedic reconstructive surgeries alongside with major head trauma. This week he was able to go from the Surgical Intensive Care unit onto the Trauma floor. The doctors were able to reconstruct his right arm, fix his humorous, radius, and ulna. In addition to that, they replaced his entire right femur. He also suffered a laceration in the liver. He has blood on both sides of the brain and was intubated because of it. He is now officially off the ventilator and breathing on his own, thank God. We will not know of his neurological state for certain or the damage his brain has suffered until later.
