Angel Marquez is a USAF veteran who served our country for eight consecutive years, from 1988 to 1996. I met Angel when we hired a limo service in Las Vegas, and during our stay, we learned his story. Despite being in pain, Angel always put on a smile and made sure others felt welcome. His dedication and warmth left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
Angel’s service resulted in life-long injuries, with his back being the most difficult to overcome. Recently, he underwent surgery, but complications arose, leading to an infection that has kept him hospitalized for months. Unable to work, Angel has depleted all his savings and is now facing the possibility of losing his home before he can even leave the hospital. The stress and uncertainty have been overwhelming, but Angel continues to fight with the same resilience he showed during his years of service.
Funds raised through this campaign will help support Angel’s housing costs, ensuring he has a home to return to once he is discharged. His release date is still undetermined, and your support can make a real difference in his life. Please stand by this veteran who selflessly stood up for us to ensure our freedom.
