My name is Angel and I need help to keep my house. Back in 2013 I was in an abusive relationship, which ended in me getting a protective order and having to take him to court for violating it twice. When we were together he lost his job and stopped paying rent (I paid utilities since I worked part time). A judgement was entered in 2013 because of the money owed he hadn’t paid. A debt collector has now gotten a court order to garnish my wages. This court order for garnishment is a significant amount per paycheck and will be taken out for the next 7 months. I am looking for help tocover the cost of my mortgage and bills so that I don’t lose my house. 

They’re  garnishing $289 a pay period For the next 7 months. Which is devastating for me: 

to add to the stress they published my work address on case search and so now I have to figure out how to get it removed so he can’t find me again.
