My name is Sandy Searcy and I’m setting a GoFundMe account for my best friend, Angel Shook Hays.

Our friend, Angel, took ill suddenly on 4 June 2021. She was admitted to Springfield Regional Medical Center. She was diagnosed with COPD, congestive heart failure, and pneumonia. She was on a ventilator the entire time. She declined very quickly. They care flighted her to Miami Valley Hospital yesterday to no avail. We lost her at 4:25 a.m., 12 June 2021.

Angel was a great wife, mother, and friend. She helped anyone that needed it with no question. She had her dogs and cats and loved them fiercely. As most of us know, she was a sloth fan.

We don’t know why God decided to take Angel now but he must have needed her more than we did.

Obviously, Bill is devastated. There is no money for a funeral. Any amount of money will help the cause. If you can not donate, please pray for the family and share this notice.
