Help Angel Get Back on the Road to Her Dreams

Angel is an incredible young woman with a rare muscle disease that makes walking and daily mobility a major challenge. Despite these difficulties, her spirit remains bright, thoughtful, and determined. Her dream is to become an aerospace engineer — a dream she’s actively working toward by studying for her Associate’s Degree in Engineering, with plans to transfer to a four-year university.

Angel isn’t just academically talented — she’s a vibrant, inspiring person. She’s incredibly fast at solving Rubik’s cubes, loves cats, and is an avid reader who finds joy in books of all kinds. She’s also active in school clubs that support students and the local community, giving back whenever she can.

Transportation is essential to Angel’s independence and ability to continue her education. Late last year, her Honda CR-V was involved in a collision caused by a sudden stop in traffic. With only liability insurance, there was no financial coverage to replace the vehicle. Thanks to the help of family and friends, the car was rebuilt over two months, allowing Angel to return to school and continue pursuing her dream.

Unfortunately, just a few months later, a radiator hose failure caused the engine to overheat beyond repair. Angel was forced to sell the car for what little she could recover — not nearly enough to afford a replacement.

Without a reliable vehicle, maintaining her independence and continuing her schooling has become nearly impossible.
