Our paths have never crossed and probably never will in person. Angel here. I'm 27 years old with HLHS (half a heart) and PTSD. I am trying to raise money for a service dog that I am needing in order to get some independence back. My PCP and counselor have both stated I could benefit greatly from owning one that would be able to do tasks like grabbing medication for me, crowd blocking, grounding me, and disrupting anxiety/PTSD episodes, and so much more. These dogs are highly trained for the people they are matched with and cost a pretty penny. Insurance does not cover a service dog, and being on SSI, I am very limited to what I can do money-wise. Anything helps, even if it's just a small prayer! Thank you for helping me.
