My name is Angel Fletcher and I’m a college student with a deep passion for my education and future. I had to take a semester off because I wasn’t able to pay my tuition on time. I was devastated but determined to come back stronger.

This semester, I was told I would receive a loan to cover my past balance. Unfortunately, after months of communication with a financial aid representative, I’ve just been told days before school starts that the loan cannot be applied to my balance after all. I feel completely misled, and now I’m left scrambling to come up with $6,500 by Thursday or Friday to continue my education.

I’m asking for any support you can offer whether it’s $1 or just sharing this with others. I’m eager to move forward, stay in school, and not let this unexpected obstacle stop me.
