Angel Duran is my cousin, and he’s been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. He came to the United States at just 3 years old and has never known any other home. Growing up here, Angel excelled in school, played soccer with friends, and even started a band—he’s always been someone who brings people together and inspires those around him.

Now, at just 20 years old, Angel is facing the unimaginable: deportation to a country he hasn’t seen since he was a toddler. The thought of him being ripped away from his family, friends, and the life he’s built is heartbreaking. We’re doing everything we can to fight for him, but the legal costs are overwhelming. We need help to cover the expenses of retaining a lawyer, filing paperwork, and paying court costs so Angel has a real chance to stay in the only home he’s ever known.
