My name is Angel Delgado. I’m a single mother with a happy boy. He’s definitely my world. I have always been very independent for most of my life. At the end though, I still find myself in deep situations.

When I found out I was pregnant, I thought my whole world changed for the better. Unfortunately, it led to heartbreaking moments. My son's father wasn’t the best, to the point I finally left him. Eventually, I had to support myself and my son.

I know I got myself into this mess, I’m trying everything to get out. To the point, I got another job and I'm paying back loans. It’s still not good enough. I really want to get out of this hole, get my future going for my son.

I do have a support system; unfortunately, they can only help with so much. I'm looking into programs to help catch up on my bills and finance. My goal is to be able to go back to school and finishing nursing. At this point, I'm trying my best to keep up with everything. I want my son to have his best chance, a better life, and not stress in life.

The donation will be going to my bills, such as rent mostly, court fees, and my son. Everything I have done is for him. He’s my world and we have to do anything for our children. Even if I feel ashamed asking for help, I have to do this for him.
