My name is Angel and allow me to open with a personal fact about myself, I have a hard time asking others for help. I was formerly employed at Starbucks, gainfully employed and carrying on in my life when my manager decided to put me in a situation that had no meaningful reprieve from, my work ethic at Starbucks while I was a Barista there was impeccable, I had no callouts, the craft of the beverage that I served to my guests and my connecting with them did end up adding on as quite a bit to my identity as a New Yorker. None of it mattered, I was let go and I suffered a great blow to my personal pride. It didn't help that I wasn't getting into any other work besides the odd dog walk.

It comes to me having to say this incredibly difficult piece of information; 38 or so days ago I fell down 2.5 stories and am still here to write about it to you all now, in my life I've always lived within my own personal means, paycheck to paycheck and surviving. I'm still not working yet due to my injuries which were a degloved heel, fractured ribs, fractured middle finger and 30 days recovering in the hospital. I'd use any funds just for cost-of-living expenses, I don't have a high cost of living ratio, and know how to budget and ration. I also am someone that is an individual of their word, incredibly stubborn to a fault, I love deeply, I care deeply, I feel that I'm one of the last odd people to think it's crazy enough to put this all out there, but here I am.
