Angel Cordero fought prostate cancer and after receiving treatments, went into remission this past Summer. On October 17th he was transferred from the the Emergency Room, to Huntsman Cancer Institute. It was discovered there that the cancer had metastasized to Angel’s brain. Doctors found 12 lesions in his brain. Together with his family, he has decided to do treatments using radiation. We’re all aware of the weakening and brutal side effects of radiation, impacting not only Angel but his family as well. His prognosis isn’t great and they are yet again faced with questions and uncertainty for their future.
Denise (Angel’s wife) is working full time and is their family’s only source of income. Their beautiful 2-year-old daughter, Madison is in daycare full time as well. We are asking for donations to ease any financial burdens and lighten the amount of stress they are currently faced with. We want Denise to be able to be by Angel’s side, all while Maddie is being cared for. It is important that they be together through this difficult time.
If you have had the privilege of knowing this family, you know that they are a constant pillar of strength. They have an unwavering testimony of God and our Savior, Jesus Christ. Their daughter Madison is the center of their world. Angel and Denise are always the first to jump into action and help someone who is struggling. Angel has reflected strong leadership of what it means to be a Father, husband, companion, teacher, friend and Son of God. Angel would give the shirt off his back to help someone in need. They have both contributed in a big way to the miracles that have forever impacted my family and we can’t thank them enough. They are loved by so many.
