Help Angel and Rachel Avoid Eviction

I am writing to you today with a heavy heart, as my family and I are facing an incredibly difficult situation. After three long years of infertility struggles, we are finally expecting a baby, but along with this joy, we've been overwhelmed by financial strain. Due to a series of unexpected work and life transitions, our expenses have continued to exceed our income. Which has resulted us receiving an eviction notice. We are required to pay the full amount by September 19th to avoid losing our apartment home.

Recently I had to make the tough decision to leave Parker University Chiropractic program after some deep reflection. I've realized that my pursuit of attaining my doctorate degree, while rewarding in many ways, no longer aligned with my personal or professional goals. I am now currently working as a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant providing therapy services for the pediatric population while attending the fire academy in pursuing a career as a firefighter to better support the future of our family. My supportive and loving wife, has been working towards gaining clinical hours to be able to take the BCBA boards exam and become a behavioral analyst. She is working part-time providing services for families who need behavioral support for their children with developmental needs. At the moment she is actively seeking opportunities to transition into a full-time clinical position, while currently being five months pregnant.

We need help covering cost of housing and unexpected OBGYN doctor visits that are critical to ensuring the health and safety of both my wife and our baby. This includes frequent blood work, ultrasounds, hormone checks, monitoring the baby's development and near future delivery costs (expected delivery date is February 2025). We have done our best to manage these expenses, including applying for Medicaid, but unfortunately, we were recently denied. As we continue to navigate this time of not having health insurance and accruing medical bills, we are finding it difficult to cover the costs on our own.

Over the past few months, we've done everything in our power to make ends meet. However, despite our best efforts, the financial strain has been too great and we are now in a position where we have no choice but to ask for help in covering our rent to avoid eviction and medical expenses. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a significant difference and help us navigate this challenging time. If you are unable to contribute financially, your thoughts and prayers are just as valuable to us.

Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for any support you can provide. Your generosity and kindness are deeply appreciated.

With heartfelt gratitude,
Angel and Rachel Ramirez
