About one month ago, my friend and talented drummer Aneris Rivera-Wagner had his entire kit stolen from his car in Allentown. This included his auxiliary instruments like triangles, woodblocks, tambourines, etc., cymbals, stands, and his blue Mapex drum set. It also included a vintage Ludwig Supraphonic snare drum, a gift from his father when he turned 13 to mirror his favorite drummer, John Bonham.

Over the past 13 years, Aneris has worked tirelessly to pay for these instruments. He used them to record an EP with his band Pinch Kitten, and he uses them to perform within the Buffalo theatre community. He holds a music degree from Buffalo State University in percussion performance, and he is a member of the American Federation of Musicians Local 92, the union for Buffalo musicians. Without these instruments, Aneris is unable to take gigs, work in pit orchestras, or perform in any capacity. He is an asset to the Buffalo music scene at large, and needs the support of his community to replace what was stolen and continue working.
