Hi, I’m Anelise – singer and bassist of the band Yur Mum. :)

This isn’t easy for me to share, but I’m reaching out for help with something very personal.

I’ve been suffering from chronic back pain for years, and in the past two, it’s gotten much worse. During a recent trip to visit my family in Brazil (my first time home in 5 years), I had the chance to see a specialist, had all the necessary exams, and was told I needed surgery.

Back in the UK, I started the process through the NHS, but unfortunately, the tests I did abroad weren’t accepted here, and I had to start over. It’s now been over 5 months and I’m still waiting just for an MRI.

I’ve decided not to wait any longer. I’m using our savings (mine and Fabio’s) to move forward with private surgery — I just want to be pain-free again and live a normal life, play more gigs, and carry gear with a smile!

The total cost of the surgery and rehabilitation will be around £10,000. I don't expect or need to raise that much money , but any donation will be very welcome to soften the blow.

I completely understand if you can’t donate — your good thoughts and positive vibes are just as welcome. :)
