Help Anel Nunez Rebuild After Arson Attack

Hola, mi nombre es Anel Nunez, y hoy viví uno de los momentos más difíciles de mi vida.

Esta mañana salí de mi casa para encontrar mi carro completamente en llamas. Lo más desgarrador es que esto no fue un accidente: fue provocado por dos jóvenes entre 18 y 20 años que lo incendiaron a propósito, aquí en Heber, en los apartamentos Villa Paloma.

Hasta el momento no hemos logrado obtener información sobre estos sujetos, pero confío en que la verdad saldrá a la luz.

Lo que más me duele no es solo la pérdida de mi carro el cual terminé de pagar en diciembre pasado , sino lo que llevaba dentro.

Muchos de ustedes saben que soy maestra de baile aquí en Heber, y con mucho esfuerzo estuve formando durante meses el primer equipo de CHEER local. Entre muchos sacrificios, junte el dinero para comprar los trajes y pompones de estas niñas llenas de sueños y pasión por el baile.

Todo eso también se fue con las llamas.

Hoy no solo perdí un vehículo… también se llevó el fruto de meces de trabajo, esfuerzo, dedicación y amor por mis niñas.

Por eso, les pido humildemente su ayuda, para que estas niñas no se queden sin su sueño.

Hello, my name is Anel Nunez, and today I experienced one of the most difficult moments of my life.

This morning, I walked out of my home to find my car completely in flames.

What’s most heartbreaking is that this was not an accident — it was deliberately set on fire by two young men, approximately 18 to 20 years old, right here in Heber, at the Villa Paloma Apartments.

So far, we haven’t been able to gather any information about these individuals, but I trust that the truth will come to light.

What hurts the most isn’t just losing my car — which I had just finished paying off this past December but also what was inside.

Many of you know that I’m a dance teacher here in Heber, and for the past few months I’ve been working hard to build the first local cheer team.

Through many sacrifices, I was able to raise the money to purchase uniforms and pom-poms for these amazing girls — full of dreams and passion for dance and cheer.

All of that was lost in the fire, too.

Today, I didn’t just lose a vehicle… I lost the result of months of hard work, effort, dedication, and love for my girls.

That’s why I humbly ask for your help — so these girls don’t have to give up on their dream.
