Help Andy & Wally repair after the Lismore flood

Hello friends, my name is Emma, but more importantly, these people are my best friends. This beautiful family—Wally, Andy, and their two small children, Clancy and Ned—have lost everything in the devastating floods that hit Lismore on Bundjalung Country earlier this week.

After being rescued from their rooftop as the floodwaters rose in the early hours of Monday morning, the first thing Wally & Andy were worried about was their neighbours, family and friends. They didn’t care about the possessions they lost or the fact that the first home they had saved up for and purchased only one year ago was gone. They were worried about everyone else. That’s the kind of community-minded people they are. To know this family is to love them, and now it’s time to help them, too.

If I could set up a crowdfunding page that only accepted precious items they've lost, then I would. But for now, faced with the reality of starting again, I'm setting up this crowdfunding page so that Andy and Wally can replace and repair items destroyed and lost so that their family can carry on living. Fundamental things like lounges, a fridge, new beds for the children, manchester, toys, a new hot water system - the list is endless.
