Hello,

My name is Andy Seagrave, and I've started a GoFundMe to help pay for the recording and production of my next album.

The album I want to record is one with songs that are more personal and spiritual.

Songs about faith, trusting God, thanking God, and following God. I have written a lot of songs that have come from my faith and relationship with God, but have not felt compelled to share them with people until now. I have recently been trying to trust God more and at times have felt I have no other place to turn to other than God—who has always given me peace, comfort, and hope. So this album is like a thank you to my creator and savior. And hopefully, it will be an inspiration to anyone who listens.

When I moved to New York from Texas in 2003 at the age of 20 years old, it was a culture shock. And though I was excited for my new chapter at art school, I was also feeling isolated and insecure. Luckily, I had packed a Bible in my bag when I moved and started cracking it open. Through a friend I met in my dorms, I was encouraged to accept Jesus into my life and started reading the Gospels. I was so moved by the Sermon on the Mount. It felt like what Jesus was saying was just for me. It was radical, and it was lessons on how to get through life in peace. From that day on, I have had a relationship with God.

He lead me to great friends, a career and my wife, whom I have a beautiful four year old daughter with. Sure, there have been some rough times, and I've wondered where God is at times. Being laid off over and over, questioning my purpose in the world, wondering what's next. But God always shows up. And recently, I have felt a pull on my heart to trust him, follow him, and share the same love, grace, and mercy he has shown to me, to others. This album is something I want to do because it scares me a little, but I want to put my belief over my fear. And hopefully bless someone.
