My name is Andrew Riley, and I'm writing to you today with a heavy heart, reaching out in a time of unimaginable devastation.

Today, 05/22/2025, my brother Andy’s life was irrevocably changed when a devastating house fire consumed everything he owned.

He lost everything – all of his clothes, furniture, and irreplaceable sentimental items. The thought of starting completely from scratch is overwhelming, and frankly, terrifying.

But amidst the material losses, the most heartbreaking blow was the loss of his beloved dog, Max. He was more than just a pet; he was a cherished member of our family. Just five months ago, we lost our mom to cancer. Max was her most treasured possession, a loyal companion who brought her immense joy and comfort throughout her illness. After she passed, Max became a profound source of solace and a living connection to mom for Andy. Losing him in this horrific fire has amplified his grief beyond measure, leaving an unbearable void in his heart.

He is trying to navigate this new reality, but the emotional and financial burdens are immense. He is currently without a place to live, without clothes on his back, and without the means to rebuild his life.
