On February 4th, Andy and Liz McMillan, along with their children Tommy and Maggie, experienced a devastating house fire that took not only their home but also two beloved pets, Stanley and Tomikey. Jimmy, their dog is safe! The loss has left them without the essentials they need for daily life, and the emotional toll is immense. While insurance will eventually help, the process is slow and rebuilding their home could take up to a year. In the meantime, they are facing the challenge of finding temporary housing and replacing everything they lost, from clothes and furniture to cherished family memories.
Your support can make a real difference for Andy, Liz, and their family as they navigate this difficult time. Every donation, no matter the size, will help them cover immediate needs and begin the long journey of rebuilding. The community has always been a source of strength for them, and now, more than ever, they need that support. Please consider contributing to help them get back on their feet.
Andy and Liz are deeply grateful for any help you can offer. They’ve promised a huge party—without fireworks—once they’re finally back in their home, as a way to thank everyone who stood by them. Your kindness and generosity will mean the world to this family as they work to recover and rebuild.
