Help Andy, Lincoln and Aspen Escape LA Fires

The huge fires in Los Angeles started four days ago. I am grateful to have not lost any possessions to the fires, but I am losing my health and have to get out of here.

The dots in the photograph I shot this evening in Venice Beach show the amount of ash in the air that is not really visible to the human eye but gets picked up by the flash on the camera.

This explains why my sinuses have been blocked, my nose is blocked, my throat has closed up, I am constantly out of breath and I have had a chronic headache for the last two days. And why both Lincoln and Aspen have been sneezing and coughing.

So I am going to drive the RV out to Slab City in the desert for a while until the air clears back in LA and shoot some film for my documentary.

I just had three photo jobs cancel because of the fires and post Christmas my finances are seriously low which is why I am now reluctantly asking for help. Before driving the 200 miles to Slab City I need to put two new tires on the RV, pay AAA membership and insurance as well as other bills and cover the cost of gas and food whilst I am out there.

Any help at all is gratefully accepted.
