Hello!

Andy, my beloved dog with a goofy personality and an endless passion for chasing wildlife, is in urgent need of medical care.

Andy was first adopted by close friends of mine, and I would often help by dog-sitting throughout the years. As their family grew, they faced with the difficult decision to rehome him due to their child’s allergies. Around that same time, I was beginning a new chapter in my life and looking for companionship—for both myself and my elderly dog, Zuko. I opened my home and heart to Andy, becoming a dog mom of two. Andy has been an incredible source of comfort, joy, and companionship—especially during this incredibly difficult time in my life, as I have been grieving the loss of my soul-dog, Zuko of fifteen years, and my father who also passed away in the same week. It hasn't been an easy year to say the least. 

Andy has developed over time two fatty masses on his abdomen that have been steadily growing. My veterinarian has recommended surgical removal to prevent potential rupture and to determine whether they may be cancerous. This procedure, along with the necessary testing, is critical for Andy’s health and well-being.

The cost of surgery and related care is significant, including the procedure itself, testing, and medications. Unfortunately, my current financial situation makes it difficult to cover these expenses alone. With a humble heart, I am reaching out for support to help Andy receive the care he urgently needs. Any contribution, no matter the size, would make a meaningful difference in ensuring Andy can continue to live a happy, healthy life.
