Help Andy get his money back

Hello. My name is Naomi, as most of you know through my Instagram stories…recently my Facebook was hacked! The hackers were clever and presented themselves well as me, asking for a favour of a loan (for a deposit) as they were locked out of their internet banking. Most of my close friends and family knew that fortunately, I have a strong support network and thankfully wouldn’t need to ask such a favour.

Andy who lives close to me and has often helped with jobs in our home or garden, unfortunately believed it to be genuinely myself and out the pure goodness of his heart, he sent the money!!


The name didn’t match the bank details, this is often the case with misspelled  names or businesses, so he continued to make the payment anyway. 


He has contacted his bank but they have to raise an investigation and often if you sent it via your app and push through the payment if the name doesn’t Match,  they don’t usually don’t refund, and it could take weeks.


Andy works so hard for his money. He always tried to help and will take on most jobs asked of him , he’s a proper grafter. It kills me to think an honest and hardworking man like Andy is out of pocket for simply trying to help me. 

As much as I would like to refund  everyone who sent the scammer money, I’m sure you understand I it’s a lot of money, and  along with the hassle of loosing my fb and all the memories  ( currently being bribed by hacker to buy back my own Facebook). Its a lot to cover myself. I have reported it to Facebook and sent my ID in so hopefully will get it back soon.
