Hello friends,
With Andy’s permission, I’m reaching out to share his story and ask for your help.
Imagine being 26 years old and suddenly facing a cancer diagnosis. That’s exactly where Andy finds himself today.
For nearly a year, Andy has struggled with persistent back pain—sometimes manageable, other times so intense it kept him from sleeping. Last Saturday, the pain became unbearable, and he went to the ER. A CAT scan led to a referral to a specialist, and soon after, Andy received the devastating news: he has cancer.
On Thursday, surgeons removed the tumor, and we are now awaiting the final pathology results. Thankfully, all signs so far point to a very treatable condition.
However, recovery and treatment will be a long road. Andy’s job requires heavy lifting, which he’s unable to do for at least six weeks following surgery. Once chemotherapy begins, his ability to return to work will be even more uncertain.
As a young man just starting out, Andy doesn’t have a financial cushion to fall back on. The combination of medical bills, lost income, and everyday living expenses is quickly becoming overwhelming. His mother, Lynne, is medically retired and living on a limited fixed income, making it difficult for her to provide financial help.
How You Can Help
Send your prayers and positive thoughts. Your love and encouragement mean more than words can express.
Share this fundraiser. The more people who see Andy’s story, the greater our impact can be.
Give, if you’re able. Every contribution—no matter the amount—will help Andy focus on healing rather than worrying about bills.
All funds raised will go directly toward Andy’s medical expenses. Any additional support will help cover basic household needs such as food, utilities, and transportation. If we are fortunate enough to exceed our goal, any remaining funds will be donated to cancer research.
We’re also planning to organize a meal support system soon—please stay tuned for updates. This page will continue to serve as a place where we share Andy’s treatment journey, as much as he feels comfortable.
Thank you for your compassion, generosity, and care for Andy during this challenging time.
With gratitude,
Noel, Lynne, and Andy
