Help Andrew's Urgent Brain Tumor Surgery

My name is Claudette Nelson, and I am organizing this fundraising for my brother Andrew, who lives in Kingston, Jamaica, and has a medical emergency and requires major brain tumor removal surgery.

On Thursday, May 1st, 2025, my brother Andrew experienced a medical emergency and was brought to the hospital, where the doctor revealed he has a brain tumor that had shifted and was putting pressure on his brain. He will need surgery as soon as possible to remove the tumor. If the pressure on his brain drops below 8, physicians will have to perform lifesaving surgery to preserve his life. Right now, the strain on his head is putting his life in danger. This tumor is a major threat to my brother Andrew's health and requires rapid treatment. His neurosurgeon has proposed critical brain tumor removal surgery.

Unlike us, my brother, and most people in Jamaica do not have medical insurance to pay for hospitalizations and prescription drugs.

Unfortunately, the cost of the surgery and associated medical expenses are far beyond our current financial capacity. The expenses involved in the brain surgery and subsequent medical care are overwhelming, and we are unable to cover them on our own as we just buried our mother three months ago.
